Shipping & Delivery

Shipping cost varies depending on the size, weight and destination of your order. Estimated transit time is typically between 1 to 7 days. Occasionally, it might take longer depending on the shipping company’s serviceability.

Local Delivery

Modern Twig offers $149 Local Delivery for orders delivered within Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. A Twiggy Team member will hand-deliver and unload your items into one room of your choice. Delivery times can be scheduled between Monday thru Saturday. Specific times and delivery details can be coordinated with us prior to your order shipping out from our shop.

Small Orders

If you’ve placed a smaller order that doesn’t require pallet delivery, we’ll ship it out via UPS or FedEx parcel.  Shipping cost is calculated during checkout and depends on the weight, size, and type of product(s) in your order. In some cases, you’ll need to sign for the package upon delivery.

LARGE Orders

Large orders will be shipped by freight LTL (less-than-truckload) on one or more 4’ x 8’ pallets.

All pallet orders will require a Monday-Friday delivery appointment. The freight company will contact you after your order is in transit to schedule a delivery time and date. Delivery appointments must be confirmed in a timely manner in order to avoid any additional storage fees, which if incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

Any additional fees charged by the shipping company as a result of re-delivery due to the customer not being present, an incorrect address, storage fees, etc. will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Delivering to islands or remote areas may result in additional shipping/ferry fees, which if incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

Currently we ship anywhere within the United States.

Shipping time varies with order size and delivery location. As a general rule, shipping time can take between 3-10 business days. Shipping delays may occur due to inclement weather or holidays.

We meticulously package each individual piece as best we can to ensure safe transit.  For most large orders, they ship on a 4’ by 8’ pallet.  Large orders get shipped LTL (a private shipper with Less-Than-a-Truckload).  Currently, we only offer curbside delivery only.

You will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

For larger orders, your order will be delivered by freight truck on a large 8 foot pallet. The freight company will deliver the wooden pallet as close as possible to the curb only on the main road. This does not include bringing the pallet up to, into, or around the back of the residence, just a curbside drop off. It is not the drivers responsibility to bring freight into your house, garage, etc. Drivers do not assist with unpacking, set-up or clean up.

It is highly recommended to have help available with moving and unloading your order.

The freight company will call you to schedule a Monday – Friday delivery appointment. They usually require a 4-hour window.

Yes! Please be advised that when you sign off on the shipment, you are stating that everything has arrived, so take the time to make sure all major boxes are there. You do not need to open each box, but just make sure the wrapping isn’t tampered with. If anything is damaged or missing at the time of delivery please WRITE IT on the delivery receipt.

No! You should never help the driver remove freight from the truck, unless you volunteer to do so and in a safe manner. If a driver asks you to help unload and you cannot safely assist – refuse the shipment and contact Modern Twig immediately.

It is very important to us that your order arrives in pristine condition. After receiving your order, please inspect all of the pieces in your order carefully. In the event that your order arrives damaged during transit, please document your delivery with notes and take photos of any visible damages to the packaging and its contents.

For pallet deliveries, it is very important to note any visible damages, take pictures, report it to the driver, and notate it on the delivery receipt. This will help us in processing any damage claims. Report any damages or incorrect pieces to within 3 business days.

UPS & FedEx allow for customers to sign-up for an online account and change their delivery options.
